Project Budget Statuses
Project budget status values are used to identify the status of a project's budget, for example, On Budget or Over Budget.
To open the Project Budget Status page:

Open the Administration Menu page.

Under the PROJECT ADMIN heading, click Project Budget Statuses.
To add a project budget status:

In the Budget Status field, enter the name of the project budget status.
This is the value that will be displayed to users.

Click ADD.
Once you have created a project budget status, you can further define it or edit it. To edit a project budget status:

In the Budget Status field, select the project budget status to edit.

To change the name of the project budget status, enter a value in the Rename field.
All historical information will reflect the new value.

To change the status, select a value in the Status field
Project budget status values with a status of Inactive are not displayed to users. However, inactivating a project budget status does not affect the existing projects that utilize it.

To change the display order, enter a value in the Tab Order field.
The Tab Order indicates the position, in menus, where this value will be listed. Lower numbered values are displayed toward the top of the list. Values will the same tab order will be sorted alphabetically.

Define the project budget status Flags.

Click UPDATE.
Project budget status values that have not been used can be deleted from the system.
Project budget status values that have been associated with a project cannot be deleted, but they can be inactivated to prevent users from accessing them.
To delete a project budget status:

In the Budget Status field, select the value to delete.

Click DELETE.
A dialog box opens asking you to confirm your choice.

Click OK.
